DESCRIPTION:

The Warrior Kapene shows where Shot comes from and embodies the spirit of where we're headed: a nod to our past and future. Kapene translates as Captain, a tribal leader who will guide us. This dart is inspired by our homeland and honors the warrior within. We commissioned Tauranga carver Whare Thompson to design a 'Ta Moko' sleeve tattoo that wraps around and runs the length of the barrel and is repeated in flight.

Forged through fierce competition and battle-hardened technique, perfected since 1970, Warrior Kapene steps forward to lead our tribe. With a straight shape and center weight, Kapene features a generous shark grip along the barrel. Front and rear scalloped edges give this 90% tungsten dart set two positive launch areas for powerful momentum and a secure point of reference. Armed in superfine titanium with a laser-etched Ta Moko (tribal tattoo) sleeve that echoes in flight.

The Kapene is a very agile dart, with grip along the entire barrel, allowing dart players to find a positive finger placement anywhere. A slight front scallope follows the soft ring grip nose; it then flows into a wide, telescoping shark grip. A more extensive scallope is featured on the back of the dart. The decorative Cinder Grip has been laser-applied and adds a super-thin traction layer that aids in controlled throwing.
