The solid and extremely stable base incorporates a silent, automatic ball return system. The approximately 20 mm thick playing surface, along with a special coating, creates a stable and precise playing surface. To ensure a completely vibration-free playing surface, additional cross braces have been incorporated into the frame. The durable natural rubber cushions guarantee a precise ball rebound. The height and angle of incidence of the cushions comply with official standards. The high-quality blue wool cloth glides smoothly and is also very robust and durable. The San Diego achieves its high stability thanks to its sturdy beam legs. These are equipped with large chrome disc feet at the ends, allowing for perfect leveling of the table even on uneven surfaces.
The San Diego table is delivered pre-assembled: you only need to attach the two side legs to the base. For added convenience, it can be transformed into a dining or work table in seconds with the matching two-piece cover plate (item no. 5522.01), providing approximately 62 cm of legroom.
